After having a large-scale clear out, we decided to
donate a 7.5 tonne truck full of various stools, chairs and other
pieces we had collected to a local organisation as part of our
ongoing commitment to the local community.
Envisage are constantly looking to improve the services they offer to keep designs fresh and original for each client. Most recently, the company has set about updating the furniture they stock in the warehouse. After having a large-scale clear out, we decided to donate a 7.5 tonne truck full of various stools, chairs and other pieces that were part of incomplete sets (and therefore unable to be used for exhibition) to a local organisation. This was part of Envisage's ongoing commitment to the community local to our Stoke-On-Trent headquarters and meant we were able to cut down the environmental impact of the refreshment of our product line by redistributing the high quality furniture items.
We were delighted to hear about the work Furniture Mine do, and to have the opportunity to help the less fortunate in the area using something we were no longer able to use. Part of the Staffordshire Furniture Reuse Network, the organisation redistributes good quality, unwanted furniture to those in need. The majority of the people they help are low income families, those who fall beneath the poverty line, or people coming out of hospital after an extended stay where they have had to sacrifice the majority of their belongings.
Envisage are currently in the process of sourcing a brand new range of the most cutting edge furniture on the market to continue to offer our current and prospective client-base the best services and most innovative designs. We would love the opportunity to work with Furniture Mine and other Staffordshire-based organisations in future. At Envisage, we are always looking out for ways to integrate the work we to to benefit the community in any way we can and thoroughly enjoyed being able to do so alongside the Furniture Reuse Network initiative.
